If you haven't been on Twitter or any social media platforms today, there has been some trending news that the musical hip-hop artist Drake and Travis Scott and NFL player JuJu Smith have teamed up in the video game Fortnite to play along with a famous Twitch live-streaming Fortnite player, Tyler Blevins "Ninja".


What is Fortnite? What does it have to do with anything?

Fortnite is a cross co-op sandbox survival game released by Epic Games in July 2017. Nine months later, the game, has turned into one of the most popular video games in the video game industry with over 45 million players playing daily. 



Cross Co-op?

Many electronic consoles like the PC, Xbox One, and Playstation 4 allows video game players to play in the same Fortnite servers, allowing different video game systems to play with one another, making it interconnectedly interesting for all users to engage. The concept of cross co-op brings video gaming to a different level of competitiveness as anyone, even with different consoles, can play together.

Although, not to get side-tracked! We have famous musician Drake who joins Ninja to play Fortnite!
When do see a big time celebrity like Drake appearing on a live-stream for Twitch as a video gamer playing with one of the top rank players in the game teaming up?


Live streaming website Twitch did not know what was coming!
Tyler Blevins "Ninja", a popular video game live-streamer on average has about 70,000 viewers for his channel when playing Fortnite. The all time highest amount of viewers for single-player stream is record of 388,000 viewers. Having famous pop-star artist Drake participate in the action with Ninja and as well Travis Scott and JuJu Smith later on, the super group broke the previous record bringing in record 630,000 viewers at its peak! Ninja must be one lucky man😌! His next paycheck from Twitch will be worth waiting for the amount of views he has receive on his channel🎮. I think we need more celebrities to join in on the hype around Fortnite!
