For many of us, our addiction to food is an everyday must. As a way to share my obsession with food, I will be sharing the different kinds of restaurant spots I have experience in the city of Worcester!
My Sister's Crawfish II
Bun Bo Hue |
A restaurant close to home! Growing up in a Vietnamese household, my family cooked many personal Vietnamese dishes from rice dishes with meats to flavorful soups with noodles. At My Sister's Crawfish II, this restaurant brings nostalgia to my native tongue! The noodle soup bowls are filled with flavors and spices especially my favorites, Bun Bo Hue (Spicy Beef Noodle Soup) and as well as Com Suon (Rice with Grilled Pork Chops). This restaurant is just a home stop away from home.
Chicken Shawarma Plate |
Will be coming here even more! I was told by some friends when I first move to Worcester, "there is some good restaurants around here! "I believe I found one!" When I first came into the restaurant I just knew from the smells and the styles from the inside of the place, you just had a feeling this place will be GOOD! Oh my was I right, the chicken shawarma plate was everything I could ask for in a rice plate. For sure will be coming back!
"Burn Out" Sandwich |
A restaurant in a garage?! On Shrewsbury street, there is ton of restaurants to choose from on this long strive. What was really cool was seeing this restaurant inside a converted garage that once ran as an auto shop. The food was also suprisingly amazing, including gourmet burgers and sandwiches to choose. Scenic yet delicious!
Cheap and Delicious! Just down the street from Clark University is probably one of the few pizza places I go to "religiously" when I need a cheap and good pizza/calzone to go! There buffalo chicken calzones are "heaven in a bite" if you like love buffalo chicken on pizza sandwiched over with another pizza. Underrated in my opinion with great customer service!
Hey Rocco,
ReplyDeleteThank for sharing your experience of good food in Worcester. Actually, I am a frequent visitor to Worcester Pizza Factory. It's close to the campus and those guys really know how to make good pizza. My favorite is Hawaiian style pizza, and also the Cheese Calzone. Now I am planning to visit My Sister's Crawfish II after seeing your introduction of Bun Bo Hue, which is tempting.
In my opinion, social media marketing can be helpful to the catering business. My aunt is now running a bakery store in Beijing, China. She is good at making cookies with beautiful decoration on them. Since the beginning of this year, she has started to post photos of her cookies on Sina Weibo (the Chinese Twitter). Now her account has thousands of followers, and according to her, the popularity of social media also give a boost to the business volume of her bakery.
Rocco,
ReplyDeleteI liked reading about all the different restaurants around Worcester. I also go to the Worcester Pizza Factory a lot, so I know what you mean! I think food is actually one of the easiest things to market on social media. I am not sure if all of these places have Facebook/Twitter/Instagram accounts, but I think it would be interesting to read reviews through those platforms to see how people interact with it by posting reviews/photos. Yelp is a pretty popular food app so maybe you could check that out and show how people are using social media to review food!
