Energizing Your Customers

via GIPHY What is better than buying something that is full price?   SALE!!!  Many online companies are strategically 'energizing their customers' by giving their customers the power to choose and dictate the way they shop ever before. [Original #2] How Genuine is Social Media?

via GIPHY How genuine is social media in today's day and age?? Social media gives us a place to hide when we can not communicate our feelings . You want more likes?  Throw more #hashtags and get more followers! You wanna hookup?  Go on Tinder !  Social media now helps us with everything, there's no need to meet people the "traditional" way, such as, getting hit on at the mall, making new school friends at the lunch table, meeting people basically without getting social media involved.  People now tend to stay inside, instead of going out to meet people. Social media creates lonliness or depression because the second anyone stops getting the usual amount of lik...

Well to explain, the term 'groundswell' is "a social trend in which people use technologies to get the things they need from each other, rather from traditional institutions like corporations"   ( Li & Bernoff, 2011, p. 9) .  To put this into perspective, groundswell has always existed as people have always depended on each other and drawn strength from one another. Now.. with the advent and spread of social technologies and the internet, people and technology have worked hand and hand to organize in favor or against corporations through the world wide web. To get a sense of what this Groundswell can mean in today's society, we can make references to what has happened last night, in what is a important and glorious day for American Football (NFL) history, THE SUPERBOWL! via GIPHY  The Superbowl is the annual championship game of the National ...
